7:30 pm, Thurs. Feb 4. A disturbance was reported in a PLU Science building on lower campus. Upon investigation, 7 PLU alumni and 2 otherwise-affiliated associates were discovered in the geology labs and lecture halls. Although two professors were present, the unruly group---claiming to be a "rock band"---had clearly tampered with classroom specimens of igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks.  Amidst the general confusion of musical instruments, powertools, and dozens of pointless powerchords, the intruders were found posing for "publicity photos."
